I will give you Sam :

Since he was a little boy, Sam liked whatever was growing, plants, flowers and trees. So it wasn’t a surprise he became a gardener, pursuing the family tradition. Upon their return in the Shire, after their adventures in Middle-earth, an unpleasant surprise awaited Sam and his friends, the Shire was controlled by Men and had been plundered, trees had been brought down, the air and the earth were polluted. Having resumed control of the situation, everybody buckled down to the reconstruction of the Shire. Sam, as gardener, took care more particularly of the restoration of the vegetation. But it was more than a work for him, it was a need, a way of easing the pain and the torments suffered during his journey through Middle-earth, a return to the normality of life in a way. Thanks to Galadriel’s gift, the cure was faster and the result exceeded the craziest expectations of Sam and, for a while, his happiness was complete between his wife Rosie and his dear friend Frodo.

Oh, very nice. I love Sam tending to the gardens as he tended to Frodo. There was such a brief time of joy for him before Frodo left. Even then, there was happiness, but that little bit of ache he'd always have for his friend. Sweet!
