The BBC website has a stunning satellite picture of the UK covered in snow.

According to the forecast my region will be getting more tonight. I'm going out to do the food shopping tomorrow morning and after that I'm staying in the warm until Monday.

Shortbread and spotted dick! My parents rang half an hour ago; the snow was just starting there(about 50 miles away).

Stay warm as best you can. That is a stunning photo. The news says the gulf stream is visiting Greenland right now as the reason for all the snow. Still, brr!

We've had a small fall of snow today. I'm not going to set foot outside tomorrow unless I can wear my ordinary shoes.
