[Asbel had been wandering out around town that day. He had a lot on his mind, actually. Luke broke it to him that Tear had returned... ...And thought she was married to him again. It was strange for him, to say the least. And yet, he still hasn't seen her. Knowing that, he's unsure.

And now he finds himself standing on the bridge, overlooking the side at the water.]

[You're lucky Asbel, because from your vantage point you get the perfect view of a sharks fin, traveling lazily down the river. Straight for Tear.

[The movement created by Jade along the river catches Tear's attention as she steps foot onto the bridge, but what could have caused it is soon pushed out of her mind when she sees a familiar man whom she should have noticed far sooner than she had.

... Asbel? [... While she had wanted to see him soon after she was found, now after all these days Tear wasn't sure of how to feel about finally seeing her husband. Nevertheless... a part of her is happy to see him well, right in front of her.]

[Was that...? That looked like a shark... What could it be doing here? This is the river, and it doesn't lead out to the ocean... Does it? No, it couldn't... He follows after it, not yet noticing Tear at the end of the bridge.]

[Akihiko was, of course, walking by. What else would he be doing today besides training? Well relocating!

On his way to something or another he crossed the river, and surely enough a shark with hair and glasses. Now. Akihiko has seen a lot of strange things in his life, even more so since his arrival here. This was something he wasn't expecting, but he was going to assume it was someone who underwent an experiment.

Unless it was one of the many bizarre animals here.]

[Jade had to wonder for a moment if this was how this child normally went around greeting the dangerous monsters that lurked about it the forest. 'Are you harmless?' 'Are you a resident?' True, this was Luceti, and residents have become stranger creatures in the past, but this boy may live a bit longer if he didn't pause to interrogate dangerous predators.] As a matter of fact, yes, this is not my natural state. [Dist is returning from Seventh Heaven today. He had just finished up his piano practice - something he had been avoiding because he knew he needed tear's help with this composition - and was nosing through his own composition. It's pure chance that he spots an error in the score while on the bridge, leaning over it to cross out the mistake and scribble in a new note.

Dist's entirely absorbed in reviewing his work, though he does offhandedly gaze into the water as he thinks.]

[Well, then, if you're so engrossed Dist, then I suppose you won't catch the shark head that comes bobbing up out of the water then, will you? It has it's beady pinned on you Dist, and you can see all of it's many, many teeth with his lips pulled back, grinning. Apparently it's happy to see you.

... Or maybe Jade is just hungry. Who knows?]

[Not entirely engrosses to catch movement out of the corner of his eye. Dist blinks, looks up from his musical charts, catches sight of the marine animal, and--]

With a loud squawk befitting barnyard fowl, Dist rears back and away from the railing and those rows and rows of pointy teeth.]

[Tear's a faintly nostalgic and familiar sight to see -- and one that has Hubert also violently stopping in his tracks when he remembers her. Before he can do anything else, he reflexively digs his heel and almost jumps back when Tear starts and calls out --

Uncle? Is that . . .

He has to investigate.]

What is going on here?

[Dear Great One she did not expect to run into one of her children here. Nevermind that this bridge is fairly close to their 'home' and she just made a public fool of herself in reaction to Jade's current form. This was not the proper way to act before her son.]

Ah, Hubert... I didn't see you there...[Still keeping an eye on you, Jade. :|]

[Hubert isn't close enough to see Jade yet, given the distance between them and the angle he's standing at. As a little strange as it is to be speaking with Tear after all that, he can try for her sake. Especially when Tear seems awfully casual about greeting him.]

Well... [How does one explain that their great uncle may have somehow turned into a shark? If it even was him in the first place, there was no way for her to be sure without confirmation from the creature itself.]
