Dr. Hydrogen said something today about the world going to heck in a handcart.
This immediately reminded me of Alex, and how she was so proud last year to carry around Dante's Inferno in her purse because that meant that she had hell in a handbag. Literally!

and once when i was probably like 7 or 8 I had this little batman figurine my cousin had left at her house, and i put it in this little basket and go "GRAMMA GUESS WHAT?! BATMAN IS GOING TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET!"
thats still the best story to tell around the dinner table 'round these parts.
