Title: Haruhi’s Best Friend
Disclaimer: I don’t own anything
Summary: Tamaki loves and hates being Haruhi’s best friend
Her laughter is sudden and overwhelming, so much so that Tamaki bursts into a roar of laughter that causes his whole body to shake.
Her hand is on his shoulder and it takes every bit of his self control not to pull her closer. He loves these moments, and it almost slips past his lips to tell her so.
Her laughter slowly melts into tiny chuckles that cause her eyes to go wide and watery.
She looks cuter like this, so female and alive.
He prides himself on the fact that he can make her look like this.
He loves and hates being Haruhi’s best friend.
“Oh, Sempai,” she sighs lightheartedly and pushes away gently, “you can be so silly.”
He places his hand over his forehead dramatically and pouts, “I am not silly.”
Her smile makes his lips tingle with the need to feel and taste her mirth.
The school bells chime and her eyes go distant, looking far off to the west end of the school where the twins are calling her name.
She turns to give him a little wave and he can’t help but grab her and give her a hug.
She lets him for the briefest of seconds, and the smell of clean, almost masculine scented soap invades his nose.
The twins call out her name once more and she pulls away.
“See you in the music room,” she says as she picks up her book bag.
He watches her run down the hall and into the arms of the twins. He wonders if this is how it’ll always be.
He loves and hates the thought.
