["I can't believe this!" The girl huffed, staring down at Tsukasa. "I never should have gotten involved with someone you! Stop looking at me like that!"
Tsukasa recoiled, looking down. "I didn't... I don't mean to..."
"You want people to care for you but you don't act like it~" The girl smirked suddenly. "Then you have a problem when you find yourself involved. If it starts to feel uncomfortable, you start looking for the exit. You just turn your back and run away if it's not looking good for you. You're nothing but a coward and a big pain in the neck. I've just decided to stop tolerating it, that's all."
She opened her mouth to start talking again, and Tsukasa stood, narrowing his eyes.
"We've been through this once before. You're not Mimiru. Now where's Subaru?"
'Mimiru' chuckled, and broke apart, leaving leeches flopping on the ground in 'her' wake. Tsukasa shook his head and kept walking, ignoring the fragmented copies of himself hanging in the air.
He froze as he came across a clearing. This wasn't the tree he was supposed to meet Subaru at. This was...
This place, again. He backed up, tried to warp out, but of course it didn't work. This place was outside of the rules.
"Where's Subaru?!" He cried out, both wanting and not wanting 'her' to answer.
... And she did answer, in that usual echoing voice that seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere.
"Tsukasa... why would you want to find her? She can't care about you like I do..."
He stared at the ground for a few moments, before shaking his head. "Leave me alone."
"Tsukasa -"
"I said, leave me alone." The image shattered and broke like glass, leaving Tsukasa in a vast darkness.
He shook his head and faded into the darkness with the dream.]
