It seems like there are actually NO filmmaking programs in all the schools in Calgary. I've been poking around the Ryerson university page and stuff but really... I do not want to be tempted to go to university in Ontario. I don't want to be tempted to go anywhere other than Calgary, actually.

So... the verdict is... film school = bad dream. Must

sorry for being intrustive... I don't exactly know how I found my way to your journal, but I'm curious as to why you don't want to go to university in Ontario!

I go to Carleton University (in Ottawa) and we have a Film Studies major... shall I tempt you some more?

Yeah, Ontario and BC do seem to have all the film programs. I was looking at Ryerson and UBC in particular.

I just had always planned to go to Calgary for certain people, and the courses offered never seemed like a problem before. =/

Carleton seems surprisingly good in terms of scholarships, though. *ogles webpage*
