My poem 'Anvil-Mistress' is now online at Ideomancer. This one was sparked by the work of colleagues who play with diamond anvils: the diamond layers in the ice-giant planets are predicted from their internal pressures. The beach of jewel-green sand can be most easily visited in Hawaii, though there are others around the world.

I left you a comment on the Ideomancer site, but in addition to what I said there, I just have to add that this line

The very iron of a soul may speak no more

and for musical quality, nothing beats this: true transmutation: diamond in transmission, dialled above tradition

I could repeat it over and over, just for the sounds.
