I wonder if you're still in NZ and were there for the earthquake.... I just read your poem in Inkscrawl, the endless arc over the shallow sea, the sudden sky/sister of wind and fire, and it reminded me of seeing lightning storms in the clouds below, when being in an airplane.

And that's a good memory, and the poem's a lovely poem. Hope you're well!

No, I was back in Canada days before the earthquake (poor little Seddon, not a big town and now rather flattened). Shaky isles...

ooh, endless arc of flight, always traversing - and the big thunderheads, caught at the edge of sunset. It is a good world in which we can go and see all the sides of storms.
