He's my favorite author. I kind of feel like a much-loved great-uncle just passed away...

Oh no! I had no idea he passed away! The Prydain Chronicles still remain my favorite young adult series to this day with The Book of Three and High King ranking easily in my top 10. T_T;;

RIP, Lloyd Alexander. That's the best thing about being a writer, though - he may have passed on, but his works will continue to be enjoyed by future generations. I'll make sure to gift them to my brother's kids when he has them. :)
