A Sociable Afternoon

I had an enjoyable late lunch with LJ's Rattleback, at Bistrot du Coin just north of Dupont Circle.  The food was really good: I had a dish of spicy sausage, spiced veg, and couscous (Morrocan/Algerian influence?).  We caught up on each others' news, and chatted about a book he'd loaned me, Schizmatrix Plus by Bruce Sterling -- interesting science

Found in comments to one of the ranch vids: http://www.pbs.org/wnet/ranchhouse/stock.html -- 3 months after the season ended, the principals spoke a little about the experience and what it was like to adjust back to the modern world. Some had learned a lot, some very little.
