Isn't it so wonderful right now? It is filling me with hope--so much freedom is coming my way in the next month, and I'm looking forward to mobility, travel, health, and movement! This spring is promising. The air smells sweet.

I didn't know that about willow, or that buddeleia will reproduce so easily. I have no willow, but I'm going to go do some pruning and sticking-of-pruned-pieces into the dirt (if the ground is thawed enough) ASAP! Thanks!

you mean you are going to prune some butterfly bush?
A friend of mine has some growing at his place that has a peachy ornage/yellow flower. It is so gorgeous! I have to get some of that this season.

when you move into your...Victorian? you will have to let us know your snail mail addie..
The fennel in Humboldt county sends greetings to its sister up in your place.
Here in Redway the daffodils I've been randomly planting are in bloom and people haven't...yet...picked them all. Some plum trees all snow white, and the few remaining acacias..
I think of you and your girls very often, my dear. (hey, you know most of my names, right?)..jarvenpa

willow water anonymous March 10 2007, 05:32:29 UTC
You can make willow water for rooting out of the stems too. Just chop some up, put in water, let sit, and then put your cuttings in the jar too. Works for roses..and for just about everything...jarvenpa

Have a happy birthday tomorrow, my dearest! Unfortunately, I didn't get your package in the mail on time for you to receive it by tomorrow (silly Sundays!), but you will have a lil' belated birthday surprise.

And lucky you, having extra daylight tomorrow evening to celebrate it with! Have a good one.

Much love,
Kate
