Oh, it's been a fun few days here. We had a big storm on Sunday, and lost power for about 8 hours as well as phone/dsl. The phone/dsl wasn't fixed until yesterday around 4:30. ( So, Sumner is now peeing in the toilet. )
i think the written journal will actually end up being a printed journal derived from my ramblings. these hands have a tough time writing for very long before getting cramped up. i need to get to the doc, i know, cuz they are getting worse. i cannot wait to hug you! oh, and Buddy would probably take the smallest collar available, the one that goes to 12? 14? inches?
he's a goof, and you are going to have lotsa fun with us this weekend. any chance you know anyone who might want the black and white pup? Panda? we decided one is enough to keep. too much work, and not enough individual attention...
So I guess the days of tie-dyed babygro`s...I think you call them onesies? are nearly over.... *le sigh* But yay!! The days of denim dungarees and little kickers with chunky socks and rain coats and jeans are here!!! He`s adorable, honey..but you don`t need me to tell you that. :) Amber, on the other hand, has her first real prom tonight, she`s picking out matching underwear and deciding on shoes as we speak. They grow soooooooo fast. :/ I love you, you and yours. x
those tie-dyes still fit him, well, the one summer onesie at least. i saved the other:) wow, Prom? you better take lotsa pics! give her a flower or two for her corsage from me, okay?
i'm not sure what the "average" is for this kind of stuff. i try to stay away from those numbers/ages/etc. because every child is so different and brilliantly special in their own ways. i do know he will probably be a bit less "socialized" than most as it's really just me and him 80% of the time. i'm fortunate enough to be a permanent stay at home mom, so preschools and such will non-existant. he'll be a terror as a kindergartner!
I am sure he will be fine! I stayed home with my older for 10 months and my younger only 10 weeks. It was hard. I wish I could be a stay at home woman..but not necessarily stay at home mom. *laugh* In other words I wish I could stay at home and watch t.v. all day and clean! :)
I'm glad to hear that you are okay. The weather is quite nice here today, it should only get up to 80! Yay. That also marks a new mile marker for us here. With the cooler temps, the kids can sleep upstairs again. Time for Hannah to get used to her own crib. She's only slept in it for a half a night since we've moved here. If you start seeing crazy *I'm a bad mom" posts it's only because she may cry most of the night getting used to it. As it is now, she wants to spend every waking minute in my lap.
ahhh, yes, finally a cold front is moving in. now this is the weather i like being outside in. we got a cool hiking carrier for Sumner, so we plan on taking many ventures outdoors and exp-loring with him. hugs to you, hannah, shayla and the B's, we miss and love you so much.
I can't wait to see you next weekend! Sumner's going to make me feel old, walking and peeing and cleaning. Hell, I don't do the last one, and barely manage the other two some days ;)
