Today I found out that at least one of my students likes me. Vanessa (course coordinator) told me that one girl in my group was going to swap due to timetable issues but decided to stay because she "really liked the demonstrator". This made me very happy

I think the reason it is a big deal to me is that I was worried about coming off as not knowing enough. If they want to stay in my class they mustn't think I'm stupid and disorganised. This is good!

I was trying to work out what standard range would be good but triglycerides have highly variable molecular weights so I really don't think I can do it without a starting point.
God, I love it when you talk like that.
James and I have seen Pan's Labyrinth twice now. It really is a fantastic experience. Storytelling in the old world sense and VERY dark. You'll love it.

Yeah I really enjoyed it. I think Josh did as well and I know my sister did. I also picked up some much needed computer advice from my sister's boy so it turned out to be a most wonderful night.

i'm dying to see pan's labyrinth myself, but of course the dutch cinema is about 6 light years behind the australian for some reason.... weird. glad to hear it's not just hype though.

I am a stubborn creature and if I want to achieve something I most often will.
Like that time I needed to do ten dig things in a row on a volleyball to get marks in PE. I could do three to start with so I practised every night to get to ten.
Heh, see it! It is good! Oh and Josh's response to me asking if he's cool with you guys moving back in was "Okay. They're not major fuckwits" (That is a complement!) and then "Lucy had better clean the shower drain if she blocks it" (because of your hair). Tee hee.
