Very nice improvement. The yellow is very cheerful. I take it you did the floor yourself? Is it laminate or hard wood? Was it difficult to do? We are getting ready to do wood in our hall and laminate downstairs and are hoping we can do it ourself.

we did laminate because it's cheaper. the instructions on the box make it seems so easy, but my boyfriend did it and he's a carpenter but still had a mildly tough time.

That is an absolutely fabulous makeover! I am realllllly impressed :) How long did it take you to do? We redid our bathroom, and it seemed to take forever, but I am also really a newb when it comes to home improvements.

the kitchen only took about a week on and off!!!!! we could have done it in 3 days if we tried.

i love that happy yellow. good job with the floors, too. that is quite the adult makeover! my "makeover" would've consisted of me + swiffer mop and not much else.

GORGEOUS. AMAZING.
I recognize the curtains!!
Also, the laminant looks amazing, don't even make excuses for it- it looks sweet.
I'm so impressed and sad I can't be there to drink tea with you in it. Someday hopefully sooner than later.
