Some of you know that I live near west Point, NY. It looks like I will be losing power and internet shortly due to the snow. We've already lost quite a few branches and there's one branch that will be taking down power, etc in a few. hopefully the big trees stay up.

Why did I think you were in Manhattan??

I got snow but mostly freezing rain and slush. A real mess here. I had to go out but I'm firmly entrenched in here now.

Eeeek! Stay safe! Stay warm! I'm sure you're prepared for these events but for those of us who panic over any snow. AT. ALL. this all seems highly dangerous and scary. Hope you enjoy some enforced quiet time to read by the fire or something relaxing and fun. I hope they have your power back up soon.
