Just pretend you saw it and be like "Oh man! my favourite part was when he drank/threw up/shoved in someone else's face/threw on someone's cat that WHOLE KEG OF BEER!!!" etc.

Sounds like that Maori station is trying to stir up some anger over the state of indigenous people everywhere! Or maybe it's to say 'hey, your lives aren't so bad! look at what the Canadians do!'

yeah... i'm just going to hope she forgets she loaned it to me. and maybe tries to foist crap like that on trinh, in the future, since i feel that it would be more up her ally. i'm not going to say anything other than that, because i'm practising being nice today.

i think the maori station is just trying to promote awareness, really. plus, they need aboriginal content and usually the stuff that stars native people is super depressing. i wonder why aboriginals aren't more represented in popular culture... or i guess why anyone except a bunch of honky white guys/women aren't more represented in popular culture. HM.

yeah, but even thought it was approximately a million hours long, the 40 year old virgin actually had some redeeming qualities, and featured actors that were actually (dare i say it) possessed of some skill. whereas (and this is just my snobbery emerging, maybe) dorm daze appeared to be more along the lines of Date Movie or.. Tomcats or... ok, i don't know. those films that all started blending into one after American Pie 2. YUCK.
