Luhan’s vision focused on something behind Sehun and Sehun turned around to see what Luhan was talking about. He would have never expected to see his childhood best friend, sitting by the bar and waving at him with a gorgeous smile.
Sehun practically ran towards his best friend and they hugged each other. Jongin’s laughter was echoing in Sehun’s ear but he couldn’t see anything because of the tears in his eyes. It took him a few minutes to get himself in control as Jongin helped him on the bar stool next to his. ‘I’ll leave you guys to catch up,’ Luhan left after kissing Sehun on the cheek.

‘Later,’ Luhan patted Sehun’s cheek, ‘talk to your friend first.’
Sehun watched Luhan with loving eyes as the restaurant owner walked back to the kitchen to check on the food.
‘Luhan is going to get so lucky tonight,’ Jongin chuckled, teasing Sehun who blushed deeply.
‘How have you been?’ Sehun asked, soaking in his best friend’s presence.
Jongin had become a successful businessman overseas and moved his family there with him. He visited his home country from time to time, so they decided to meet whenever Jongin was around. They swapped many stories with each other; life events that had changed everything for them. Sehun narrated how he met Luhan, thinking that he was texting Jongin and spilled his heart out.
‘He also convinced me to go back to school,’ Sehun smiled. It took Sehun a while, but he decided to attend University for Game Design & Management. He knew he could not be a Game tester for the rest of his life and owed it to himself to move forward in life.
‘So many great things are happening for you,’ Jongin smiled at him.

‘I had lost hope that things would ever look up in my life,’ Sehun confessed, ‘two years ago my life was completely shrouded in the dark. There was no way for me to see the path in front of me. I was destroying myself piece-by-piece while being under the illusion that the world was out to get me.’
‘I’m so glad that Luhan decided to stalk you,’ Jongin teased him and Sehun laughed. HIs eyes drifted towards Luhan on the opposite side of the bar, laughing with Baekhyun and lighting up the world to look a million times brighter.
‘I’m really glad too,’ Sehun smiled.
All was finally good in the world...
