Twilight
So, I saw it yesterday. As a movie, it was okay. As a movie based on a book, well, I always have a problem w/ the changes they make. I guess my problem is, I have certain images in my head and then the movie doesn't look like that. I picture Bella being less uptight when being around Edward. Wasn't that the whole point? She feels totally at ease

I think they are great adaptations, but to an extent I can see why they'd be disappointing. Now, I have no interest in Twilight, so I trust what you and Alichia tell me.
However, you know, there are always problems transferring works of literature to film. There are a lot of nuances that can't be transferred, so you have try to find ways around that.
Besides, if you look at Lord of the Rings, each movie would have been like a bajillion hours long.
