Thank you! Not having internet at home, I find myself fighting with livejournal (okay, and it doesn't help that it has its own...quirks). Today, I think I figured out how to post pictures more or less consistently! I sorta forgot about others reading this site, so thank you twice!
Aw, what a great story! It was such fun to see a young Napoleon, free and happy with life, excited about everything and at the same time, beginning to become the man he would be.
Thank you for this great fic! They are too few and far between if you ask me!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm trying to post some of my stuff online (as opposed to my Surface or hand-written notes) and also to put stuff in one place (I.e. my journal and ao3). Not having internet at home has made posting challenging and I won't even start on the, um joys, of livejournal, but I'm learning! This was done over on Section 7 last year and it was one of those 'flash and grab' stories that jumped into my head after seeing the pic- fun stuff! You might be interested to know that Gery was based on my real ophthalmologist that I went to from age 6 until my 40s when he died. I used to get rides on his wheelchair. He actually was one of the volunteers for the polio vaccine which gave him polio and (sadly) killed his son--both real heroes.
