Today was Minimum Day at school, so just before the last bell rang I ran over to unlock the main gate and pick my niece up from first grade (usually there's at least an hour between the time I leave work and the time school lets out, so I don't often get to do that). Anyway, Meg bounced out fairly quickly, happy as ever to be at school, and as we ( Read more... )

{{{{HUGS}}}} I'm glad yer having at least some good moments in amongst all the other ups and downs you've been going though. And that father really is byond totaly awsome in his reactions, I think that'd make anyone happy to see. Very cool.

Let me know if yer up to touching base anytime. My scheudal is kinda random right now, but I'm up most though the evening and night. {{{HUGS}}} Love you, sis, and I'm glad you're giving the meds a chance. Let me know if you need anything.

Thanks, sis. Sorry it's taken me so long to respond, lately I haven't been online as much. I am around at night, though, because I have a hard time falling asleep. Hopefully we can rendezvous that way really soon.

And yeah, meds. ::sigh:: I was on Amoxicillin for a few days because a sudden throat infection (thanks a lot, Cindy) and before that they'd put me on Xanax, in addition to the Prozac.

I've only taken it twice ("as needed") and it's a VERY small dose (apparently Xanax = HORRIBLE DEPENDENCY if you're not careful) so I'm not sure how much good it's doing me. Mornings are definitely the worst right now, but I'm white knuckling through until everything evens out, chemically. Hopefully. I'm having blood work done today (again) so we'll see what comes of that.

Hey, though! I did see Indiana Jones last night! That's something nice and distracting, right? I'll respond to your review about it when I get home from work. I can probably think of a few things to say...
