Can anybody tell me what a blog/online journal is for? Cuz either I have missed the point... or someone I know has....

Please let me hear your thoughts... she believes in emailing everyone about her day, instead of an online journal.

I think they are for keeping people up to date with your life.. especially if you've moved away. I suppose for some people it is a good way to vent and get support at some level.

i would be annoyed as hell if someone e-mailed me their "thoughts and feelings". e-mail is the new letter, you don't send out mass letters about how you felt about the past week.
