I found out from Savage Love that Target is one of those reprehensible organizations that allow their pharamacists to refuse to fill prescriptions for birth control or emergency contraception. I tried to track down the details on the whole Target thing. The blog listed by Savage Love was confusing and I didn't find anything about Target. Planned Parenthood did have this article:

Planned Parenthood did a survey of 50 pharmacies and rated them. Target and Walgreens fell into the bottom category along with Wal-Mart. I go to Walgreen all the time. Now I'm going to have to find a new drug store _and_ department store. grr. the bastards.

I sent an email to Target after reading the Planned Parenthood report on pharmacies and their policies regarding Plan B and birth control and I actually got a response from them. I was glancing quickly through the sender names on the 60 or messages that accumulated in my junk mail folder over the last twelve hours and found the exact same reply from Target. Hmm, wonder why it parsed as junk mail to the Bayesian.
