So I maintain a MySpace account because a few friends use that instead of LJ. A little bit of looking around on MySpace was enough to convince me that it's a cesspit of mouth-breathing savages. I bring this up now because every few weeks I get a sudden barrage of half a dozen "Friend Requests" from random people. About a quarter of them are from

MY personal theory is that, for every site with bots out phishing, there is a hacker, somewhere, who has put together a hidden bot on a Romanian server that does nothing but friend people with made-up accounts... I have no evidence to back this up, but I *like* the idea of two sets of myspace trollbots preying on one another too much to let mere facts get in my way.
