Not a headline I ever thought I'd see.

My frequency of reading news on CNN.com has declined to maybe once a week over the last year or two, as the quality of their journalism has gone down in my opinion. It's been so long since I've updated tfi_game, that I feel obligated to mention the fact on my regular journal. Those few that read my journal and aren't interested in gaming can disregard.

I'm reading a book called 1491, by Charles Mann, that pulls together much of the last couple decades of research into the history and civilizations of the Americas before Columbus. I came across this short article and was intrigued by the idea it presents. I think I may have done something like this in the past in the form of having a Perception roll, or similar, to determine if there is an opening for some action.
