I was more using the basis of "all humor has a grain of truth to it."
If there were no racial stereotypes, Dave Chapelle's show would not exist.

i like his shows a lot, but i grimace everytime he makes a gay joke. (with the exception of the episode that had gay versions of things like the dmv...that was hilarious and seemed to be a different vein than his normal jokes which just seem hurtful rather than funny)
