Saw Watchmen. Was pretty much like seeing the book on screen, but would be pretty useless to those who hadn't seen it. And like reading the book, I feel terrible and need a stiff drink.

saw it too. now begins the long wait for the dvd that has the extra hour of deleted scenes and tales of the black freighter.

Exactly.

Things I noticed that weren't obvious: No one smoked those weird little pipe/cigarette things, and Hollis Mason didn't get his ass killed.

things i noticed: no explanation for adrian's snow lynx thing, and of course no dialogue from the black kid and newspaper vendor. also it's unfortunate that the movie should come out so close after frost/nixon, where people got to see what it looks like to see a real fucking actor play nixon.
