So, all this summer I've been reading a shit ton of stuff. On average I've got three books around me, all dog-eared (the horror! I know, but I love to do it with my paperbacks). There's one that I tote around with me to read while waiting for people and what not. There's a longer one that I read while on the elliptical for distraction purposes

Right now I'm reading Blindness by Jose Saramago (a friend had suggested him), and while interesting, I find it hard to get through because he is basically anti-puncutation, and he includes all conversation as part of the text, so it reads just like a normal paragraph, which gets confusing. The plot is really interesting, though - long story short, there's basically this plague that suddenly starts going around town, where everyone is suddenly going blind. All the blind folk are then locked up in a hospital as quarantine, and they have to deal with living on their own (the feds can't afford to send seeing aides to help them, lest they turn blind, too ( ... )
