I'm glad to have a new lj. The other was from high school. And the user name? No longer held any value at all. This one is much more fitting.

I had meant to ask - what is the significance of the two usernames? Just curious. :)

The old one...I don't remember the direct translation of the meanings of the names. I had this weird religious crisis and that name came out of it.

As for my new one, it centers around my tattoo. I honestly feel the semicolon is the best way to describe life. It's all the same train of thought, but jointed up into a single sentence/existence. More or less, all the things we experience are separate, single events, but are strung together because that's who we are. So, a semicolon joins all those events together.

Does that make sense? lol

I should get poetic, and put it to verse and then hand it out on a card to explain. That'd be so cool.

I noticed the semicolon. I keep meaning to ask if it's just a marker or a real tattoo. For the record, I think it's cool.

Interestingly enough, I've been considering putting the next paragraph editing mark somewhere on my body for about half a year now. I like your reasoning better than mine, though.

Haha, you should get it. I like that punctuation mark. I saw this one girl who had open and close quotation marks on her back. It looked so awesome.

Oh, we are nerds. lol. We want tattoos of grammar.
