The other day my wife wanted to go to Meijer to investigate some items they have on sale. Yes, this is what my life has been reduced to. Anyway, guess what we saw there? One of theseLook at that! Hee! That is an interesting collection of ironies indeed. I wouldn't go so far as to say it won't work, though. I don't know what nature of tool (software or otherwise) would be helpful in organizing for your writing, but as sure as I am that you have designed one in your mind, I am also sure that you will be able to get the hang of computer programming, and give it life ( ... )

Well, thank you for your vote of confidence. I have mainly done programming in the past in Basic (not Visual Basic, I predate that) and a small bit in C++. As for how software can help you organize for fiction, that takes a lot of explaination. But, in brief, I am working on an idea that allows me to draw up a rough outline with hyperlinks and have that automatically propograte to a scene by scene HTML page where I can jump back and forth to flesh out bits and do re-editing by clicking hyperlinks back until I get an approximate draft I can build off of.
