Enjoy Montreal for me when you're there. I miss everything about Easton Ave, especially hanging out with everyone as the sun went down on a hot summer day. In some ways I'm glad I left, that was Montreal will always have this mystical quality of going home that you speak of.

i very much enjoyed it.. i always think of you when i pass your house.. it'll always be your house no matter who lives there..
those days in the sun were incredible weren't they? everything about childhood feels like a dream.. a long happy one..
easton provided the most carefree magical playground...
remember the amount of us that would come and and play on the streets for hours and hours at a time... you sean derek jonathan daniel nick tim matt alexandria fiona ali julie paolo(spelling?) chris graeme jamie alex cindy... so many kids...

i'm glad i left too... there's something about staying in the place you were born that creates a vortex that wants to keep you forever locked away from who you're supposed to become keeping you holding on to too many memories and skins that have already been shed....

i'm glad i found you on live journal sarah...
little pieces of montreal :)

Well she's here...

I just saw emily a few hours ago...In montreal of course. (I tried without any success to get her to stay here...she loves her life there too much..and yeah)

Was good times, this place has alot of memories for her, and everyone that lives here.

I can only hope I have the courage (and balls) to move out to a completly new place with new people like you did, em. I'm jealous (Even though MTL rocks..it's awesome to do such a thing...even in a mobile ;)

And yes..i'm sure once u post pictures of this 'mobile' i will no longer think of you as the couple of carnies from the simpsons who steal homers house from them :p

hey there :) i just linked to you from carissa's lj and i read that it sounds like your from montreal. i spent last year out in BC and than moved back home to montreal at the end of the spring. now i'm in ottawa, cuz as much as i love going home to montreal for visits, i can't handle living there anymore.

once you've experienced the west it's hard to settle for the east, don't you agree? :)

very much! i try to explain that to friends and family there that want me close to home but i feel completely captured, captivated rather, with the magic the west coast holds.....

where in montreal are you from?
how do you like ottawa?

i grew up in lasalle, but went to school and had part-time jobs a bit all over the place. i was a big user of the stcum, especially the metro.

ottawa's nice. i enjoy the city more much than i thought i would. i live pretty close to the university so everything is pretty much accessible by foot. i also enjoy walking downtown. i think a few dislike the quietness of it all but i find it rather nice.

so what took you out west? i went to school in langley, BC last year. i l-o-v-e-d it. :)
