Seriously, "what the french toast!?"
So,
the application I put in for the east side apartment complex came back denied due to my extremely crappy credit. Not happy.
I did put another app in with a location close to the one I wanted to move into and they have lower standards for their credit/background check. They basically want to make sure that you haven't been evicted and have not raped somebody. Check, and check. So, my chances are better again!
But, you know... when one fraction of you life seems to be going well, another fraction of your life seems to be falling apart.
Work FUCKING sucks right now. I am going to have to hold out until I move, but I think I will be more active in my search for a better job. I'll also need to make sure that if I do plan on getting another job that I will be entitled to health insurance. I've learned the hard way how much it helps to have health insurance because you never really know what's going to happen. If things change at my current place of employement I will stay.
Then again, I may just suck it up and do my best to focus on school. The whole reason I'm working is so that I can enroll and pay for school!!! Enrollment begins in November for the Spring Semester '09. I'd like to be able to finish my degree in a timely manner, but I know that just is not possible for me right now considering my financial situation. I owe so much on student loans and can't afford to go back to school full time (12 credits) and go back to work...and pray for sallie mae to give me more money so that I have a place to live!
