held a focus group discussion last saturday, for my term paper (which is built like a mini-thesis). topic: the simulation of the female in anime. (as in, that baudrillard dude) the thesis statement: ...er? it's pretty much just a study on the animated film perfect blue (which is along the lines of psycho-mind-fuck-thriller)

I saw that, by the way, after someone described it as a Hitchcockian anime. It reminds me more of Dario Argento though. Very good, but very grueling, at least for me.
I keep planning to do that meme, but I'm finding it so difficult. I keep on imposing rules for myself (no repeated items, i.e., only one CD, one movie on video, one book, etc.) until I ended up doing a list of twelve short stories I would put in an anthology so people will know what I like to read and how I view the world. And then I stopped, when I realized how pathetically nerdy that was.
