yeah I found out that once you leave Japan, everything you own smells musty.

and god forbid you'd have to throw something away while doing your laundry...*kicks the Japanese garbage system and then throws some plastic away with paper inside it*

Ha ha, Kawasaki City is great because you can throw away your newspaper wrapped in aluminum foil in a plastic shopping bag on tuesday or wednesday or sunday or whenever and no one cares.

I draped my clothes over the fan they gave us. TJ gave me the heads-up on this. It worked great.

ah, my fan is really small and doesn't work well. I could hang them in the bathroom but it's too humid in there.

My fan was also tiny. I could only do one or two shirts at a time, but I did manage to get most of my panties and bras hooked on there. XD Words cannot express what an amusing site that was having my underclothes flapping in the artificial breeze. I should have taken a picture.
