Ok, I don't feel completely right about doing this, but this story has been sitting around for a few months probably, and I'm defending my freakin' dissertation in a few weeks, moving to a different state and starting a job. I have a title, I have the rest of the story outlined. But there's no guarantees if and when this will get finished

I just have no words for how great that sentence is. Here's the thing - I can hear John Sheppard saying it. So many times, you read a really great story and you love it, but there's dialogue in there where you can't really picture the character... you know, framing those words and then speaking them out loud. (Does that makes sense?) But this was perfect. Also, it made me laugh so hard that when I snorted (as I do), it hurt like a motherfucker.

That's entertainment, baby!

Thanks! I'm very big on verisimilitude (uh, kinda), so I'm really glad the dialogue sounds right to you. And there's really no greater testiment than injuries incurred while laughing!

Yes! Truth serum! Actually, I honestly wonder why there aren't massive numbers of truth serum fics out there...I don't think I've ever read one.
