So I went to this link (http://www.tampontification.com/donate.php) because a friend mentioned it in her LJ.  Good cause...support it.

While trying to determine the legitimacy of the charity I browsed the site.  They seem to be trying to make it clear that they speak freely and candidly about menstruation...as if to demonstrate this, they ask ( Read more... )

Disgusting. I don't know when the line between being able to talk openly about things crossed over into tastlessness and tackiness. By the way I'm pregnant!

Wow.

I assume from the delivery (sorry, no pun intended) that this is good news. Congrats. Let me know if you need anything, even if it's just a bit of advice or a sympathetic ear. Good luck.

Oh, and American culture has always been tacky and tasteless. It has certainly gotten worse, but really these things just go in cycles. Over repressive, followed by way-too-much-information, followed by reactionary repression, the wheel continues turning.

It's all bunk.

Wow good wow bad?

It's a very good thing. I'm very excited and happy and loving being pregnant so far, now that the morning sickness has all passed. You need to give me a phone number where I can reach you so I can call and catch up sometime.

Wow good. For sure.

Babies have made me a better person. I'm not going to say that's what happens for everyone, because we all know that isn't true. Not everyone is cut out for parenthood. But, it really made an impact on my life and I applaud anyone who goes into it with heart and eyes open.

Amy really enjoyed and reveled in the pregnancy (all three times) and we had some really beautiful births. Two of them were in our own home, which was extra special.

E-mail me at seanemmons "at" hotmail.com and I will get you my number etc.

Where you livin' these days? Seems like I just can't keep up with anybody these days.

Wow. You don't often need to mention my name more than once to invoke an appearance... I'm cooler than Beetlejuice that way. ;-)

Aunt Flo remains my favorite... and that appears two or three times in the list above.

"Shakin' the Blood Rose" and "the canoe sprung a leak on Red River" are another couple of good ones. I don't think they were on the list (canoing on the red river is, but not springing a leak).

The sophisticate in me appreciates "Picasso...in his red period", but I am curious how exactly you work that into conversation.

"Sorry, can't go swimming with you tonight. I have to go home and do a paper on Picasso in his red period."

I dunno.

I need details lady! I'm a parent, so it's kind of like I NEED to know these things.

Weird, huh? When did I turn into that guy?
