It's a New Zealand film, as I understand it.

And yeah, if this ever comes to theaters in the US, I AM THERE.

Holy CRAP this looks like a perfect horror movie!!! The trailer is a bit more violent than American trailers (a woman's head being blown apart, briefly, and a sex-with-sheep joke gone a little too far??? Oh HELL YEAH I'm at the opening night!!!!!).

Ahem.

Yes, I find this movie strangely appealing. It's not just you. I expect we'll have to wait for DVD, but still... DAAAAAAAYYYYYYMMMMMMMMM.

Black Sheep is a New Zealand made comedy/horror film directed by Jonathan King and made in a similar style to Peter Jackson's early films such as Bad Taste and Braindead.

North American distribution rights have been acquired by The Weinstein Company and IFC Entertainment. The Weinstein Company will be releasing the film on DVD through Genius Products.

Special effects for the film were handled by Weta Workshop (who brought us Xena and LotR).
