For any mundane, non-critical one-on-one interactions with the scientist here, whether it be poking him for whatever reason, maintaining continuity, throwing him an item, or in general doing something that isn't momentous enough to require a whole post or log for it.

[It's still fairly early in the morning when Don knocks on Robert's door, ready to commence their vigil for Helios' return. He still looks pretty roughed-up from last week's draft, but his spirits are good, and the bandage on his leg is gone. He's a little nervous about what Helios' "death loss" might be, but no matter what he'll be glad to see his friend again, as he's glad to see Robert now. It's their first time being alone together since the battle.]
Hi.

Hello, Don...
... I know it is early, but... nothing yet. [Not that Robert expected there to be. But Don should be able to tell that Robert has been obsessively watching the journal transmissions anyway. After all, he has his journal propped open at the couch, clearly at an angle where it can be obsessively stared at without moving.]

Did you sleep last night?
Reply
... Not well, admittedly.
I... I worry. Very much. [Probably way too much, but it's Helios, the person who means the second-largest amount to him in Luceti.]

[It strikes Don as a little odd, to be asking these questions... usually he's the one who has to be reminded to eat and sleep.]
Reply
... I have not been able to focus, properly...
[This should underscore the other reasons Robert wanted Don here.]

Did something happen?
Reply
...
I hope he returns today.

... Are you f-feeling better, Don...? You still look... somewhat battered.
Reply
Do I?
[He starts pulling out pots and pans.]
What's Terran comfort food?
Reply
... Ah, well. I... have a fondness for blueberry pancakes.
...
I understand if that is somewhat infeasible, though. I'm not even sure if I have the proper ingredients...
[Robert gnaws his lip gently, mentally going over the ingredients list in his head.]
Reply
It's that bad?
[Then he twists back, rubbing his head and looking around the kitchen.]
Do you have any mix?
Reply
I believe so... though I would generally make it from a recipe, but that may take more time than we have in this case.
[Obsessively studying the journal clearly takes a lot of time and effort.]
Reply
It doesn't hurt, anyway.
I'm not very good at pancakes, but if you have a cookbook I can try...
Reply
[His mind is definitely thinking about that Vitashell now, though.]
And... yes, I do have cookbooks. Many of them. [Robert walks over to a drawer, organized meticulously, and after only a moment removes one that consists of breakfast food recipes. It only takes a few minutes to locate a pancake recipe in the table of contents.]
... Would this help? I think I have most of these ingredients on-hand...
