Quick Note/Apology for Anybody Reading This:
[Written on May 05, 2011]
So, uh, I noticed that I completely failed at dates. (Yes, four months after I apped Robert. *headdesk*) I've had Robert say he was born in 2208/lived in 2232 A.D., and was off drugs for eight years. Both of those things are completely and utterly wrong, and cause logic errors. :|;; He actually SHOULD be born in 2308 (and likewise lives in 2332 A.D.) and he was off drugs for five years (he stopped when he was 19, he's 24 now). If your character is affected by this massive screw-up of mine, please feel free to poke me and rage in my direction. ;; Though you can also assume Robert actually told them the correct information if you want... Whatever works for you? :|a
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Robert is a scant 5’ 4.7” (1.64388 m) tall, making him a tiny little guy. He’s very thin and scrawny (he weighs 133.62 pounds (60.6090 kg)); weak enough to look like you could break his bones over your knee. He basically has never done anything physical in his life. xD; He has noticeably small hands and feet, smaller than you’d expect on even a guy his size.
2. How old is he?
Robert’s currently twenty four years old. His birthday is November 24. (That happens to be the day that Charles Darwin’s On the Origin of Species was put into print.)
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
Robert tends to carry himself rather rigidly out of anxiety and a desire to look professional. He doesn’t really seem “natural” at all... Just, forced. He’s also somewhat timid and might seem to be scrunched up a lot, like he’s trying to hide himself. When he’s trying to get a point across, though, he can be a lot more animated and even defiant.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Robert’s got very poor health; he’s pale and extremely out of shape (though he isn’t heavy but that’s mostly because his metabolism is high enough to save him). He’s not always sick, but he’s quite prone to it because he doesn’t expose himself to illness on a regular basis, so his immune system is somewhat compromised. He’s able-bodied - mostly - but being so weak he can’t do much outside of walk around; even light objects can be problematic for him to lift.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Robert is very tense most of the time. The only time he has anything approaching grace is when he types or does things that require dexterous hand motion, like his experiments. He’s generally uncomfortable about most of his motions, to boot.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
I think Robert’s hot, personally. *shot* But he really isn’t anything special to look at, I guess... he has rather boyish features, and definitely looks the part of “wimpy little nerdy guy”, if that’s what you’re into. Robert doesn’t like his looks very much, and he’s very self-conscious about his chest, which he sees as way too scrawny. If someone approaches him in an erotically-interested way, he tends to deflect the compliment or become very nervous and somewhat flustered. It’s not a situation he deals well with.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Very pale, unhealthily so even (though his skin tone isn’t THAT light, but he just has that... pallor that makes it obvious he never goes outside) and kinda... soft-looking. He has a few scars on his body; the most prominent ones are on his arms and wrists and were inflicted by needles and other drug paraphernalia. (He’s uncomfortable of those.)
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Robert’s hair is a dull mahogany brown (basically brown with a reddish cast), and it tends to be cropped rather short to his head, with a familiar M-shaped bang-line and a bit of a fuzzy “point” at the back (which follows the natural contour of his skull). It’s kinda wispy; not really thin, per se, but not really thick either. It tends to get oily easily.
9. What color are his eyes?
Robert’s eyes are a faded bluish gray. They’re often seen behind his glasses, but as his glasses are clear they don’t obstruct the colour at all.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Not particularly, though he wears his lab coat and glasses often enough that they can probably count as body parts.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
He’s tense everywhere, really. But it’s most obvious around his shoulders and back. (He’d probably enjoy a massage there sometime, but he’d never ask for one.)
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Robert usually dresses for his job - which is to say, he just wears a lab coat all the time. He sticks to muted colours (though blue is his favourite colour, but it tends to be more neutral shades of it) and most commonly wears polo or collared shirts and khakis.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
His clothes generally fit him fairly well - though they may not quite sit on him right if they’re made for a larger person - and he usually seems as comfortable as he can possibly be in them. He’s nearly constantly wearing his lab coat though - he’s rarely seen without it.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He basically dresses the same all the time, because he doesn’t have a sense of fashion and doesn’t have anybody to impress. Nor does he particularly care to do either - he’d rather impress with his mind than with what he wears.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Robert generally wears briefs, but he wouldn’t be adverse to other kinds of underwear. He would insist on wearing SOME kind of underwear though, and he’d probably be embarrassed if it was anything revealing.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Robert’s voice is basically a middle tone - not particularly high, but not particularly low either. His voice is relatively clear.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He usually speaks relatively evenly; his rate of speech tends to be on the faster end of things, though he has it at a comfortable speed when he’s speaking about things he knows well. He tends to get a little more hesitant when dealing with topics he’s unfamiliar with or anxious about.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
His voice has just a touch of heavily-diluted (by Terran cultural homogenization) Queen’s English to it - just enough to make him sound vaguely sophisticated, even if he isn’t. He tends to enunciate words clearly. No real verbal tics other than that, though.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Robert speaks a heavily derived version of English, and a sort of common-language modelled after Esperanto which is basically in use over much of Terra. (I don’t have much detail on either, sadly.) He also knows fragments of other languages from just the collective amount of information he’s retained, but he can only really speak his derived English and the Terran Common Language.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Not really, though he has a tendency to lapse into his Queen’s English-esque accent more when he’s stressed or trying to be convincing.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
Robert is a fairly good impromptu speaker when it’s about a subject he knows well - when speaking about astrobiology, for example, he can rattle off a speech with little preparation. However, the more out of his element he is, the more anxious he’ll sound, and the more he’ll have to prepare. Robert would always prefer to prepare beforehand, though.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Robert is almost always eloquent, having a good command of the languages he speaks - but he’s also very stilted and formal most of the time. If he’s uncomfortable for whatever reason, he might lose this to a degree, but he will almost always maintain some kind of eloquency, regardless of the situation. In short, he’ll never be completely inarticulate.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Robert’s only strength, really, is his intelligence. He’s extremely rational and logical, and is nearly always deliberating about something. Most of his intelligence would be considered “book smarts”, but he’s picked up knowledge in other ways as well - however, he puts most stock in what he can learn from databases and the educational systems of Terra.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Robert much prefers to have time to consider things, and he does best when he’s given that time - but in a pinch, he’s not too bad at making snap decisions. He rationalizes things quickly enough anyway.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Robert is extremely logical, almost never relying on anything other than cold, hard evidence. As a result, he tends to be somewhat hesitant to get involved with abstract concepts. He’s also very practical, though he lets himself get carried away in some grandiose concepts because he assumes that what works for Terra works everywhere.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
Robert has had a very thorough and extensive education at the highest levels of Terran schooling; he’s a certified astrobiologist working at a premier scientific institute. He’s graduated with the highest honours from almost every course he’s ever taken.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Robert’s biggest areas of expertise are in the sciences, particularly in biology, chemistry and physics. He majored in astrobiology (the study of non-Terran life-forms) but has knowledge in many other fields of science. Robert is really interested in learning about anything he can, though he’s prejudiced against fields that don’t rely on scientific thinking or logic and reason.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Robert’s very much an introvert. He keeps to himself a lot, has many hobbies and interests that keep him away from other people, and often prefers to have distance between himself and others. Despite this, he often is lonely and secretly wishes he had somebody he could call a friend.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Robert tends to be mostly even-tempered; it’s hard to really make a huge impression in his emotions the majority of the time. He’s often neutral - not particularly depressed, but not really cheerful either. (It’d be comparatively easier to make him melancholy, though.) He’s quite driven and focused when he has a goal in mind; otherwise, he tends to be a little lost, so he usually makes goals for himself if he doesn’t have any.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Robert tends to be timid and somewhat suspicious of most new people and situations. He’s not comfortable with change, though he will adapt to it, and he will hold most people at arm’s length to avoid developing intimacy with them, out of fear. He isn’t outright belligerent, but he usually comes off as cold or uninterested, and when he’s interacting with people he perceives as barbaric or imbecilic, he can be downright rude.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Robert is more likely to act, provided he has a chance to prepare.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Flight, definitely, unless it’s a verbal debate, in which case he’ll gladly defend himself. Robert is a pacifist though, so he won’t touch anybody even if not doing so will kill him (or someone else).
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Robert doesn’t have much of a sense of humour, being rather serious most of the time. He does find some puns amusing, though, but he’d hate anything he considers juvenile and would have no tolerance for pranks.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Robert was earmarked when he was young as having social anxiety disorders, but never got serious treatment for it despite it being offered; it was exacerbated as a result of problems with his ex-partner, Benjamin. Robert also has an addictive personality and suffered from substance abuse for several years (related to the issues with his ex-partner); he’s mostly overcome it but still has an alcohol dependency that crops up from time to time. Robert doesn’t really effectively deal with his problems... he just ignores them, more or less, to devastating effect when they come back to bite him.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
Probably the most major moments in his life would be visiting the Randi Institute for the first time as a very young child (around three years old), meeting Benjamin around fourteen, his relationship with Benjamin, his five-year drug spiel, his graduation with the highest honours, and his later acceptance into the Randi Institute as an astrobiologist. He also has an interview with the Head Institute of Terra lined up that might prove to be another turning point in his life.
14. What does he fear?
Robert fears rejection of intimacy; he fears making another close relationship that once again is obliterated, through his own actions or someone else’s; as a result, he fears getting close to anybody because that automatically risks rejection (even though he also really wants that again). He also fears losing the accumulation of knowledge that he has, or losing his ability to use it.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
Robert hopes to one day make it into the Head Institute of Terra, amongst the most distinguished scientists of Terra. He wants to make a contribution to the grand body of Terran knowledge that, however small or large it might be, is lasting. He also secretly wants to find some way to make a close friend that doesn’t leave him... though fear holds him back.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
Robert doesn’t want anybody to find out his dark history with drugs - it’s something he’s gone to a lot of trouble to conceal, because it makes him look unprofessional and weak. He also doesn’t really want to admit his past with Benjamin, or let on about how lonely he is.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Robert isn’t particularly close to either of his parents anymore, having left them years ago to avoid their pity as a result of the mental troubles he went through during his drug dependency and broken relationship with Benjamin. He used to be much closer to them, though, but they were never on his intellectual level, so he never had the same kind of connection to them that much of his peers have. He has no idea who his biological parents are, and has no real interest in knowing outside of vague curiosity; most Terran children are adopted anyway, so he doesn’t see his situation as abnormal.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Nope, Robert is an only child. I’m not sure as to whether he has biological siblings out there, but if he does, he never knew about them.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Robert doesn’t know any of his other biological relatives, seeing as he was adopted; in terms of the relatives of his parents, he doesn’t know them particularly well as neither of his parents had much contact with them, so he doesn’t really put much emphasis on them. Robert is rather isolated from his family.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Robert isn’t really close enough right now to anybody to feel like this, though he wishes he could be. He mostly just lives on his own.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Robert’s best friend used to be Benjamin Prieto, before their subsequent break-up years later. They met at school, likely through one of the many science clubs (which is one of the few things that they had in common). Robert never really had anybody else that he could consider a “best friend”.
6. Does he have other close friends?
Not particularly, at the moment; he does have a few acquaintances at the Randi Institute, and has something of a mild rapport with fellow scientist Professor Tobias Gangestad, as well as a weak friendship with Professor Brooke Garcia, the Head Scientist of the Randi Institute; neither are particularly close, though.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Robert has a lot of trouble getting along with people, to the point where he usually doesn’t bother to try. Mostly it’s anxiety and fear of rejection holding him back, though social anxiety doesn’t help him at all.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Friends, definitely. Though he doesn’t really have either...
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Robert’s currently single, but not by choice, though he isn’t actively seeking a partner either. He’s never been in a legal partnership of any kind with anybody and never really wanted to be.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
No, and Robert wouldn’t consider that unless he was in some sort of pre-arranged polyamorous relationship, in which case he’d consider everybody spouses. Robert tends to be more on the monoamorous side though (but he’s not entirely against polyamory).
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Robert’s first crushes were just various other boys he knew, though he never seriously acted on any of his romantic interests until Benjamin. Benjamin is currently his latest one as well; he’s still obsessed with him and can’t bring himself to move past him. It doesn’t help that Robert shelters himself so that he rarely meets anybody else.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Robert looks for a fellow intellectual; somebody who’s got a brain and knows how to use it. He looks for somebody who is honest, trustworthy and respectful; a person who can be relied on. He also sort of wants somebody who can protect him in various ways, since he feels weak sometimes.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
Robert doesn’t have any children or grandchildren; he doesn’t really want any right now either, though he might consider it later in his life. He would likely adopt just like his parents did.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Not really, no; he just has people that are antagonistic towards him because he’s a cold asshole to them. That would be the majority of people at the Randi Institute, then.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the
Kinsey scale?
Robert considers himself gay, and would probably stand around a 5, though he would represent his orientation more as a spectrum. Robert’s orientation includes all people who identify as men, including trans men, intersex men, and people whose usual gender presentation is masculine. However, Robert has found himself rarely interested in women, and in some situations he might consider being sexual with a woman out of curiosity or liking her very much.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
Robert enjoys sex (or rather he enjoyed it when he actually had it) but it isn’t as significant as the feeling of closeness would be. He mostly just wants to feel loved and cared about again, and considers sex an expression of that love. Robert won’t have sex with somebody that he doesn’t at least care about in some way (that is, he won’t do anything anonymous).
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Robert is pretty vanilla, actually. He finds chests very appealing, particularly broad or muscular chests (though he feels self-conscious next to people like that). He likes cuddling and caressing and has a fondness for sensual massage, though he’d be embarrassed to ask for one. Robert is drawn to people with darker skin than him, though that’s more of a Terran cultural norm than anything (Robert is considered really pale by Terran standards). In terms of turn-offs, Robert doesn’t enjoy anything dehumanizing or anything that impairs his senses in any way. Robert also is adverse to being physically struck or injured in even a playful manner (so, for example, a light spank would make him wince). Weird bedroom habits... uh, nothing really that I can think of, unless trying to hide his chest counts... He might also want to keep his glasses on even during sex as a comfort thing.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (
zodiac of
choice) sign? How well does he fit either type?
Well, I had to look them up, so... no, not really. His Western astrological symbol is Sagittarius, and his Chinese zodiac symbol is... well, his birthday is too far in the future for me to figure it out. Besides, he really doesn’t fit any of the symbols, and even if he did, he’d consider them both laughably ridiculous.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Robert is neither religious nor spiritual, and in fact most of Terra is the same way. They hold absolutely no importance in his life whatsoever.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Robert has always had a strong personal ethics code, based mostly in modern Terran humanism. He first developed his ethics code when he was very young, being encouraged to do so by his parents. He is a strong pacifist, typical of most Terrans, and deems any violence as barbaric. He also espouses human rights, particularly freedom of expression and autonomy of choice. It would take an extremely dire situation, or slowly wearing at his mental state over time, for him to compromise his ethics codes in any way; it is likely that he would stand by them even if death was imminent.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Robert is quite intolerant of different beliefs, being very xenophobic. He usually can’t understand what would cause a person to believe something different from him. He tends to think that whatever he thinks is the only real valid viewpoint, even if the situation doesn’t have one defined viewpoint.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
Like I said, he’s xenophobic... Robert is also really against any kind of aggression or violence. He also resents people who are anti-science or anti-technology. He doesn’t really have a particularly good reason for any of this, besides it usually tending to result in ignorance or injuring other people.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Robert is rich for a Terran; being a scientist gives him a real advantage over almost all of Terran society. Despite this, he doesn’t spend most of his money, not having much interest in it; a lot of it goes towards financing scientific exploits or back into the Institute he works at.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Robert is upper-class, or the equivalent; and comfortably so. The main reason he’s there is because he’s a scientist, which in Terra is the equivalent of most celebrities here. The change hasn’t really affected him very much, though, since he stays out of the public eye for the most part.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
Robert lives in a small residential unit, which is the equivalent of an apartment; it’s made for two or three people, but he lives in it alone. He doesn’t spend much time in it, but it’s the only place he really ever goes besides his job. It’s immaculately cleaned because Robert is obsessive about that, but it’s also noticeably bare since he never has to entertain anybody (not having any friends to entertain).
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Robert doesn’t spend his money on much other than virtual video games, donations to various scientific institutes, or small experiments he wants to conduct out of his home. He’d buy other things if he had somebody around to share them with, though.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
Robert works as an astrobiologist for the Randi Institute of Linden, Terra. Considering he’s up for promotion to the Head Institute itself, and that the Randi Institute is the most prestigious one in his area, he is indeed good at his job. He adores astrobiology and wants to work in the field - and other scientific fields - until the end of his lifespan; he’d probably even do it even if he wasn’t paid.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Robert loves to learn, and spends much of his time on his nanocomputer, poring over databases. He enjoys solving puzzles and doing other intellectual pursuits, such as modelling thought experiments. Robert also enjoys immersive virtual video games, though he normally plays them solo. He spends a lot of his time working on reports and compiling data for his job; Robert likes to keep himself occupied. Occasionally, if he’s depressed, he might go out and drink himself into a stupor - though he’s trying to keep that to a minimum now.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Robert’s eating habits aren’t the greatest, though he enjoys eating fresh vegetables at least. He doesn’t usually skip meals, but he tends not to eat too much either. He definitely drinks alcohol when depressed, but doesn’t usually drink it otherwise so that he doesn’t tempt himself. It really depends on his mood, though... He doesn’t eat out a lot, even though he could afford it; he prefers to cook food for himself.
Associations
Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is his favorite:
1. Color? His favourite colour is blue, but I associate him best with metallic colours or sterile white.
2. Smell? He likes the smell of fresh-baked food, as well as “clean” smells like the inside of a laboratory or a freshly-washed article of clothing.
3. Time of day? Robert prefers to be up in the evening, though he rises early by habit.
4. Season? Robert’s favourite season is spring because of the abundance of wildlife to study, though he’s fond of autumn colours.
5. Book? Robert doesn’t even know what books are. But I’d associate him with On the Origins of Species.
6. Music? Robert doesn’t listen to a lot of music... I’d associate him with electronic or classical music, though.
7. Place? The Randi Institute, for sure.
8. Substance? Probably a compound, like silicone.
9. Plant? Hmm... I’m not sure. Perhaps a medicinal plant? Robert enjoys studying carnivorous plants, though; he’s fascinated by historical footage of bladderwort traps.
10. Animal? A corvid, like a European magpie. Intelligent birds!

Smoking? Nope, he has no interest in consuming smoke (he's too unhealthy for it anyway)
Other daily habits: Cleaning and organizing, thought experiments, cooking... Generally being nerdy and self-sufficient
Hair: A dull mahogany brown, somewhat flattened with a very recognizable M-shaped bang and coming to a natural point near the back of his skull. Has a tendency to get oily easily
Clothes: Boringtastic. Nearly always seen in his lab coat and glasses (they might count as body parts by this point) and generally wears comfortable clothes like khakis, polo shirts, and slacks
Scent: Sterile and almost medical, like the inside of a laboratory. He keeps himself clean if at all possible
Other notable physical details: Gray eyes, kinda boyish features, small hands and feet
Canon powers: Absolutely none, unless "being smart" counts as a power
Spoken language(s): Terran Standard English, Terran Common Language, tiny shreds of other languages that he only knows in passing (like Latin)
Voice: Kinda middle-tone, andro-masculine, with a slight Queen's English-esque accent
THE DIRTY(ISH) SECTION
Cup size/Penis size: Cup size is pretty standard for cis men - around an AAA, so he pretty much has no fat there whatsoever. Penis size - he's about 5.3 inches erect, with an average girth of about 5 inches (circumference, NOT diameter :|). He's uncircumcised, if that matters
Size preference: Doesn't particularly matter to Robert - though an extremely large penis or breasts might be intimidating, in a sense (especially if he's receptive in the case of a massive penis)
Orientation: pretty strongly gay, but not unable to consider the idea of being with a woman should she be particularly awesome and actually willing
Best sexual experience: Probably one of the times he WASN'T drugged when he had sex with Benjamin
Worst sexual experience: Probably one of the times when he WAS. Robert doesn't really discriminate too much, though - he doesn't have enough sex to be able to really specify what's good or bad
Top or bottom? Versatile, but is usually more of a bottom
Favorite position? Anything that lets him cuddle up to his partner and feel loved
Underwear: Extremely fucking boring. Usually plain white briefs
Number one fantasy: Being sexual at ALL, right now - usually is fantasizing about Benjamin, but don't be surprised if a certain few others start making it into them
Sensitive areas: His chest (which he's embarrassed of), his lower back, and his inner thighs
No-no places/triggers: He doesn't really object to being touched anywhere as long as it's gentle, though certain things might weird him out - but he hates ANYTHING that approaches violence or being restrained; he also hates anything that removes his ability to sense (like a blindfold)
Favorite place to have sex: Somewhere private, clean, and convenient... so probably a generic place like a bedroom
Something they want to try but haven't before: Not actually sure... I guess he's a bit curious about a typical female-bodied person, because he's never done anything with one before beyond relatively innocent exploratory touches with friends
Favorite kinks/sex acts: Robert's a vanilla little sap - he loves cuddly stuff, and is very into the idea of sensual massages
Sleep naked or in pajamas? Pyjamas, because he's embarrassed about his body being seen by others - even though he doesn't have much of a nudity taboo
Special talents: Pfft, this is ROBERT here... He really doesn't have any because he has very little experience with sexual things
Masturbation: He enjoys it and does it frequently, because he has nobody to be sexual with and doesn't think there's anything wrong with masturbation. He's clean about it though and often does so while showering, or else uses some implement to catch semen so he doesn't end up wiping it off whatever he's on
Toys? He's vanilla, so the only toys he's ever used were probably boring, typical sized, human-shaped silicone dildos
Turn-ons: He likes chests and darker skin, though the latter is something of a Terran social norm; he loves intelligence and wants to feel safe
What was their first time like? In all honesty, probably fairly shitty; inexperience on both sides, though Benjamin was somewhat better at it, and anxiety on Robert's side. But he didn't mind - the fact somebody wanted him made up for that
After-sex habits: Cleaning stuff up, cuddling, probably attempting to discuss things like a nerd
Anything else? He has no problems with the idea of being sexual with a non-human sapient (beyond his normal anxiety), because he's around them a lot for his job
