['Sup, Robert. Giles is just going to quicken his pace so he can start walking next to you now. No, he's not going to announce himself right off the bat. You should be used to this.]

Need some help with that?

[Should be, but isn't quite yet. Though Robert doesn't outright yelp, he does startle slightly when Giles speaks up - he hadn't even noticed him at first. Observance only goes so far when a good deal of it is spent trying to think of what would be the best route to take to throw scent off the trail, so to speak.

... Yeah, he should be paying more attention.]

Ah - Giles...?

... [... Well, Giles already knows about the whole Shredder thing. So that makes him a safer choice, at least.]

... I... would appreciate it, yes.

[He does. He can't bring himself to be that terrified of Shredder, not when there are so many other people who could potentially gut him like a dead fish for knowing the people he knows - Ganondorf, Grell, Nu, Yuber, Mirror!Helios, Angel. But Giles is well aware of the situation.]

Not at all. I'm glad I caught you. [And he'll take a box or two from Robert's hands.]

[In all honesty, Robert is more worried for the safety of others than for himself. That's the entire reason he's moving, now - because he's realized that he causes more trouble being separate than being with someone else.]

Thank you...

[The box/es will be given gratefully as Robert walks towards House 55.]

I suppose I must, er, be rather conspicuous.

[Eggman happens to be leaving his apartment around the same time Robert is, and being next door neighbours (though not for long), this means they happen to bump into each other. Although not literally, luckily.

Robert's carrying a box at the moment, which Eggman thinks the weedy little scientist is probably struggling with.

The best possible response to this? Walk up behind Robert and slap him on the back heartily.]

Professor Hastings! Fancy bumping into you here. [He eyes the box Robert's carrying.] Jumping ship, are we?

[Oh hello, fellow scientist - now just one of the two Robert knows besides himself and the Malnosso, here - and apparent villain. Good combination, there.

Of course, between Robert not quite registering Eggman's presence until that slap strikes him, the nearness of his wings to that blow, and the fact that even back-slapping is a violent act to Terran taboos - well, the initial reaction is to outright panic and yelp slightly at the pain and shock.

There are a few terse, frightful seconds where Robert expects a second blow and hunches in anticipation of staving it off, but when it doesn't come he notices Eggman himself grinning at him.]

...

... [... Oh. Was... was that a greeting?]

... Er. S-Salutations, Doctor Robotnik.

And, yes. It is, er, about t-time for a... change of location. [Half-lying, here.]

Oh, really? That's a shame! Since we were neighbours I was hoping we'd become fast friends! [It's said in a joking manner, but there might be a hint of sincerity buried in there.]

Well, I might as well try my hand at this 'helping' thing! Why don't you hand me that box?

[And Robert takes it entirely sincerely. Ouch.] Ah - well, Doctor R-Robotnik, I... certainly would not be against m-maintaining connections. After all, I would strongly like to collaborate with you...

[And he softens a little. He knows Eggman's probably dangerous, but damnit, he's still sad and a little vulnerable.] ... Especially since a close scientist f-friend of mine was... recently sent home.

Thank you, Helios... I appreciate it.

... Do you need anything to help you with the procedure? [Because, while the apartment is probably pretty empty by now, Robert is sure he can get something to help.]

Mm I think I can manage on my own. [ There's a joking tone to his voice. ]

But thank you for the offer, Robert. [ Helios wouldn't mind the company though. But he doesn't mention it because he knows how dangerous all this must be right now. ]

[Actually, Robert is still in the apartment, gathering the last of his stuff.]

It would be no trouble... I am at the apartment as we speak. So I am well-equipped to assist, should you wish for it.

[Well heeey there fellow scrawny scientist. Bruce Banner is just walking around town in clothes that are probably too hot for the current temperature outside (he's wearing a hoody and pants). He happens to glance over at Robert and... yeah are you sure you can handle that?]

Those uh... look kind of heavy.

[... "Handling it" might not be the best term, actually. More like "overtly struggling a little with it". Though Robert isn't quite complaining, but in this heat and with his less-than-adequate physical condition, he probably isn't the best person to be carrying plastic bins around.]

... A n-necessary consequence of moving, I am afraid. To pack more would be... c-compromising the structural integrity of the containers.

Well yeah I suppose that's true...

[He's not even sure if this guy can get to his destination in one piece.]

Do you need a little help...?

[Maybe! It's debatable, though.]

... I would... a-appreciate it, yes... th-though you certainly do not need to b-burden yourself on my behalf...

[He's never seen this particular individual before, though he recalls the voice on the network.]

[It's been three weeks. Three weeks since Raph had gone home. Leo and Don have been working on clearing out Derek's old room, finding a temporary place to store the humans belongings until he came to get him. Robert was moving in, and they couldn't keep the two rooms sealed up forever after all. Life had more or less returned to normal, even if their brother was gone, Something they'd need to adjust too, since he might never return. Then a couple of days ago, they woke up to Mikey gone too. No forewarning, no notice, no anything. It's just like they were never even there. The news wasn't spread this time, despite the family knowing Mikey had a lot of friends.

Despite knowing they were fine at home, away from the dangers of Luceti. Mikey's disappearance has Leo in a bad mood. He's been more temperamental, more moody lately. Currently he's back in Robert's room, spot dusting with a swiffer-duster. Despite the fact that the room is spotless already. He'll head back to the living room at what he thinks is a noise by the front door though

[And indeed, the noise happens to be made by this particular scientist, lugging in one of the many plastic boxes he'd deposited near the front door. Its brethren sit in a cluster outside, almost forlornly, as if waiting to be taken inside.

He pauses at seeing Leo. Even if Robert doesn't know him as well as he knows Don, he can tell the general malaise. Of course, he assumes it's just from Raph being sent home... he doesn't know about Mike yet.]

... Ah... h-hello, Leonardo.

I see you made it. [He'll glance out the door, checking to see if Robert was followed. Once clear he'll step outside, and pick up one of the boxes to carry it inside.]

With... s-surprisingly little trouble, yes. Though I, er, attracted something of a crowd.

... Nobody particularly dangerous, though. [... Except maybe Eggman. But Robert's never really sure what to think about him, and is biased because he's a fellow scientist.]

Is, er, there anything I can do to assist you...?
