Ah yes, the famous Southern way of speaking! As I learned over 2 months spent in Tennessee this summer, it's far more than just the accent: they put words together in a way that I found delightfully different. It certainly set me apart though! (What can I say, you don't expect to encounter a girl with a British accent taking your order at the Taco Bell counter in the middle of TN. Especially not one who comes from an African island and writes out paradigms of ancient Greek verbs when business gets slow. Oh, surrealism! XD)

Hmmmm....how about Iron Range accents? You know, cause I can't help it. ;) (Though geographically speaking that's about as far from the south as you can get and still be in the US....)
