I was abhorred when I read about this idiot kid.

I can't tell you how pissed off I am about this. This fucking moron had NO IDEA how close he came to dying. All for a FUCKING HIGH SCHOOL CLASS. I'm really pissed that soldiers had to look for and babysit him at the risk of their lives.

What baffles me is, how on earth did this kid come to a point where he thought that running off to Iraq was a good idea? Especially when, from what he's had to say for himself, he sounds much more thoughtful and articulate than your average 16-year-old. You'd think that someone of that intelligence - especially someone who seems to have a particular interest in what's going on there - would have been following the news and have a much better notion of the danger!

I guess it goes to show that someone who is intelligent can still be terribly naive - and what a dangerous combination that is...

seriously though, high school boys have *balls*...they think they are invincible...not to sterotype, but this was my experience in the day...
hopefully the soldiers taught him a thing or two...shoved a *poptart* up his ass or something...oh wait, that would be a waste of a *poptart*...

I saw this yesterday. It is amazing how stupid humans can be.

I am particularly amused that he had no knowledge of the local
language. The kid was lucky, indeed.
