South Korea's got Seoul~

2) Eeee. I love Swordspoint. Well. Yeah, I did. I personally like, am not "FAJKLJFAS" about the entire series, though. Like, I read Swordspoint andddd The Fall of Kings (?) and I think they are so amazing for the bloody POLITICAL PLOTS OF FAIL and for the subtle gayrelationship, since in most slash fantasy books it's "LOL LOOK, IN YER FACE WITH SEX." and I remember just loving them [swordspoint in particular] for being, like, "yeah, so what, we're sleeping together, ANYWAY, politics!"
I KNOW WHAT I WANT TO REREAD NOWWW.

I JUST REALLY LOVE THE CHARACTER STUDIES. AND ALEC. OH ALEC.

Yeah so the politics were rather more or less not uhh the best but its a melodrama/mannerpunk so it doesn't have to be THAT big of a focus. YEESSS REREAD. God I should have also put down Sarah Monette's Labrinyth series.

BUT QUESTIONS

1) Who's your favourite Doctor?
2) Which class do you enjoy the most at college?
3) One dish that you love to eat
4) A prediction for the new year on yourself
5) Do you have a favourite season? If not, how about what you like with each one

I just love politics drama of any sort, even if it's "bad". It just makes reading anything so much more fun.
It's why I love history classes so muchhh.

And, yeahhh. I'm buying the Monette's books for my friend for christmas. It's like, half a joke that I'm getting them for her, because she's read them and we've made fun of them, but it's half serious. IDK.
I'm excited for Monette's next booook.

Shiiiit she has a next book?!

History classes are fun, except I'm getting really tired of the 21st + 20th century.

Me and my friend make fun of the totally terrible covers of the books.

(P.S do you have msn? Because otherwise I'm going to kill my browser with the refreshing)

Fangirl Me? Nossir!

It is..the lace..ohmygod, but also the time when the class system was really in place. The difference between rich and poor was extreme.

We can be geeky together and make him talk about languages. : D

;D

Even the poor end of the stick is fascinating, in a way... I love to see it as a setting~

I remember having a real obsession with that movie for a bit, oh~ I think it was all the blue stuff. I really liked blue stuff.

Tehe, I barely remember the movie except that I was firmly convinced that whenever a machine was acting up all you had to do was to get a wrench and hit it and turn some knobs and it'll work fine.

South Korea's got Seoul!

And I LOVE Swordspoint. It's one of my favourite novels. The Fall of Kings I don't love quite as much, though The Privilege of the Sword is also pretty awesome. Swordspoint's my absolute favourite of the three, though, most definitely.

Swordspoint is possibly one of the few series that I read linearly. : D

I liked the fact that Alec had a successor and his son was just as interesting except minus the sort of anger that I felt in Alec. I'm more ambivalent with Privilege of the Sword because I thought the character Artemisia was rather hollow and Kate seemed a bit of a Mary Sue but I read that awhile back so I need to re-read to form a better opinion.

Questions!

1) A character you love from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, and why
2) Favourite works by Neil Gaiman and pairings you ship
3) A singer or band that you listen to alot
4) What did you grow up with in your childhood? IE: books, games, etc
5) Any holiday that you like?

I love Privilege for the Alec scenes, really. I don't have strong opinions about the other characters, but there is some spectacular Alec dialogue in that novel and he's my favourite character, so that seriously won me over. *nodnod*

I will answer these sometime tonight! I LJ in between NaNo-ing. XD

LOL do them whenever you have time!~

The Alec scenes were the best, yes. But although as much as I love him I wonder what Richard saw in him to be so devoted to him.

:D LOL technically I could have changed what you can say for me to ask questions but its cute.

1) If you could be famous for anything, what would it be?
2) What is a city/country that you would love to visit
3) Phobias that you have
4) Do you have any particular scents you love?
5) If you had to endorse a clothing brand for say...3 years, what would it be?
