i read an article in national geographic on a study that found the chemicals that our brains produce when we are in love are similar to those produced by a chemical imbalance. and maybe that's why right now i feel the most sane i have in the past few days, maybe that's why i'm finally calm as i sit here and type this ( Read more... )

i always wonder about science&love. on separate occasions, i read that after sex, women form an chemically induced emotional bond to their partner. whereas men feel the need for a deep sleep. i always thing about the former and am frustrated by the fact that neurological signals might be dictating how i am supposed to feel.

how unfair. but i've also read that for both sexes simply having enough orgasms with another person can stimulate long term attachment. i didn't know what to think about that! :)
