I mentioned this before but it's so important for me it just has to be repeated..!
sometimes i get mad.. and im horribly intolerant at this point.. when people think Taiwan belongs to china.. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! -.-
People NEED to know..
Taiwan's in a very tricky situation.. why? because of china. since many many years Taiwan and china have been two different worlds. yet china still claims Taiwan as a part of it. they have the "ein China-Politik" (one china politics).. saying Taiwan belongs to them, which simply isnt true. We've been independant, we have a completely different government and system. we're a democracy, which China is not, communism is what they have..
since we Taiwanese people dont cooperate, China suppresses Taiwan.
Sadly but true, China has power. other countries do not accept Taiwan as a country itself because of China's threats. basically they're saying, if you dont do it our way, we wont trade with you.. and unfortunately, most countries import from China.
simply see how our president isnt allowed to come to europe.. not even for personal stuff or holiday. neither is our vice persident and three other ministers allowed to travel to Europe, but this isnt written anywhere.. this is just like a "black list"..
Im sure everyone knows WHO (world health organization). guess what? Taiwan isnt in it.. fucking ridiculous.. 23 million people.. not getting any help.. remember SARS? remember the bird thing? many people died in Taiwan because of slow or no help..
same deal with the UN (united nations).. we are not part of it..
we're not even allowed to send troops out to help other countries when they need supplies or stuff..!
it's sad how the world ignores 23 million people..

Taiwan is a very advanced country.. just look at all the technologies that are made in Taiwan.
and our people are free.. as free as they can be through the outer influences..
you simply cannot unite communism and democracy..

china has missiles ready to be shot to Taiwan.. im not sure how many.. 200 i think. they're all at the east side, anytime ready..
it's a very tense situation.. people are never sure when war might start.. and it's sad how we have to be careful in what we say or do.. because China might just totally destroy Taiwan..
