Today we finally visited the new modern wing at the art institute. I really loved Peter Doig's Gasthof zur Muldentalsperre which looks like this:

that picture is fantastic! that's a shame about the photography section and rather shameful of the museum to treat photographs like that. even if it was an accident, that's very careless of them in general.

I think that was how the artist wanted to display it in the space. Just lying naked with no tape or anything surrounding it. It seemed silly to not think something like this wouldn't happen. The Swiss!

oh that is very odd if that was intended like that. not much forethought on that one. i think your idea with the banana peels would quite apt for that.
