Zelgadis didn't keep many magical books. What ones he had use for were hard enough to find, and besides the fact that he traveled so often, there was never any place on his person to store them. If he ever found a book worth holding on to, it was more than likely that it would be the answer to his problems, and thus negate the further use of holding on to it.

Well. Perhaps if it were dangerous enough, it could be stored somewhere for safekeeping. The fact of the matter was, all that Zelgadis knew about magic, he had memorized. It occurred to him then that teaching someone from another world about the magic of his world would be difficult without a book, to put it lightly.

He requested that Klarth meet him at the nearest local magic guild, the place where sorcerers of all types gathered. It was a small location compared to some, located on the outskirts of a simple town, but at the very least there would be some books with which he could illustrate the concepts of shamanism to the other man.

Once the necessary volumes had been gathered, he sat on a large rock nearby the building. He kept his hood up over his head, and waiting for the stranger to arrive while trying not to gain too much interest from the other scholars. The most fortunate thing about choosing this location to meet was that the closest teleporter in the area was, of course, under the jurisdiction of the guild. That made it easy in one respect. Now if only people would quit staring at him.
