Project Dreadnought - Airbrush Interlude

I misplaced the SD card for the camera for a few days, hence no dreadnought photo update, but there will be one later today.

On a related note, I had a bit of a play around with an airbrush at the weekend and I was very impressed with the results. More practice is needed, but this is definitely something going on my “must buy list” for expanding my ( Read more... )

For "fuzzy" edges (eg dirt spread), they are the only way to go.

The other really nice bit about airbrushes is that you can get large shiny areas without brushstroke.

No airbrush and lack of knowledge of acrylics are two of the main reasons why I stopped doing much modelling - and I actually enjoy painting MORE than games with minatures!

I have white, grey and black spray cans, depending on what I'm doing. They are so much better for undercoating and make an otherwise very dull part of the process, much less painless.
