i've had this dream of living in an old barn in the countryside by the coast in california somewhere. i've had this dream for a while. come spring, i'm hoping to make this happen. the dream looks a lot like this:

You know, pretty much all Ian and I talk about is saving money to move up to Northernish California to live. Oh and get this - his uncle (who lives in Arcada) works in real estate, so if anyone would know about prices and what's available and all that mumbo jumbo it'd be him.

awesome! maybe we can all do a landshare together. these barns are around mendocino. that area and north of it all the way through oregon is an area that i've been looking at land for a while now. it's so freakin beautiful! at the moment, i'm thinking that i can live in an old barn like this for free if i do it right. one of my favorite parts in those areas is the redwood forest in california and humbug mountain in oregon. i want to live on humbug mountain!

around arcata there are good prices and really beautiful areas! east of arcata is an area that i would like to settle in, near the mad river. or near the klamath river. i definitely would like a river through the property so we can swim in the summertime.
