O HI THAR, folks....long time no see. As some of you may know, I began this community before I have any thought of joining the Navy, let alone being stationed half-way across the world from where I lived, and the schedule for deployment in Japan pretty much sucks

I love Bleach so the news that this was the last arc really floored me. That being said, I also think that Kubo has just flat out run out of ideas. I would love it if he just handed the whole thing over to the writers who did the Zanpakutou Rebellion. It was done with DBZ. GT was awful but I think the Bleach writers and animators are much better then the ones that worked on GT.

Tying up loose ends? Where to start? There were allies left in Hecko Mundo. What happened to them? Isshin and Ishida's dad...what's up with those two, together and seperate? After all the help that Shinji and company gave, what happened with them? What is the "thing" that Aizen called the Spirit King and warped his mind so much that he would go through all that he did to destroy it and Soul Society? It could take a few years just for him to tie up these.

Oh, yeah, how 'bout them Vizards? We see Hiyori get skewered like a hot dog, but then no mention of her?

I don't really mind that it's ending soon. From what we've seen of Kubo, he'll drag this out for a very long time. We'll have at least a year of chapters

If the new guy in Ichigo's bedroom is actually a Quincy? Wouldn't put it past the mad scientist to be spying on poor nekkid!Ishida.

idk. So many new characters, I'm probably mixing them up.

There's probably an entire team in the 12th Division assigned to monitoring the feedback from the spy bacteria and informing Mayuri of any interesting developments. Also Mayuri is a creeper.

Someone should write fic about that (though not me...I'm on a hiatus as I write two 15K - 20K big bang fics and four mini-bang fics). Have Akon heading up the team and delivering them to Nemu, and Nemu delivering the reports in her monotone voice.

I'm glad it's ending here, too. We're only two chapters into the new arc and it's okay, I guess. I'm giving it time to see if it's as good as the last one (which I totally preferred to Hueco Mundo - Deicide). And nope! Manga hasn't explained it yet. That's something I'm eagerly awaiting.

It's rather ironic. Before the Fullbring arc started, Kubo announced that he still had ten years' worth of plot. Now that the fullbring arc is over, they're suddenly announcing that it's the final arc. I get the feeling that the editors can't figure out what to do with Bleach and Kubo's just getting dragged around.

I'm hoping it finishes decently, but I wonder if he'll be able to wrap up all the interesting foreshadowing, ie. Royal Realm, Royal Guard, actual vast lord sightings (that aren't hybridized or whatnot), Szayel's lab, Isshin's past. Since this one was hinted to be quincy-related I was a bit disappointed.

I'm guessing with this sudden about-face that someone told Kubo to wrap this manga up ASAP.
